Holder of Intangible Cultural Heritage Property No. 64, Duseok Master Park Moon Yeol

Having worked on esteemed projects, such as the Geoncheonggung Palace in Gyeongbokgung and the bronze ornamentation of Jogyesa Temple’s eight-story pagoda, Master Park Moon Yeol created a silver phoenix hinge for this collaboration inspired by the symbol of immortality. The result is a Hwagak Kyungdae, an elegantly painted wooden cosmetics storage box, reminiscent of those used by royal women throughout the Joseon Dynasty.
